Post about Charlie Kirk deleted by Facebook.

“There aren’t many things that shows as clearly, as the reactions to the murder of Charlie Kirk, the amoral nihilism of contemporary global right  (I will not call them alt-right anymore, because I think it makes no sense, shich this current took over and virtually dominated right wing movements practically across the whole widely understood Western world).

Because who Charilie Kirk was? Charlie Kirk was a guy, who’s life mission was hounding “sub-humans” – depending of his actual mood or eristic ammo, were: left-wing academics (his organisation Turning Point USA published “black list” of “leftist” academics – you can imagine, how average day of a person from such list would look like, or just get into the comment section of virtually any liberal-left commenter, that still survives on X/Twitter), Latinos, black people (last days before his death, he spent on rallying racist attacks on black Americans by assigning a collective responsibility to them for murder of Ukrainian refugee, killed by black criminal). Simply, the guy was doing nothing in his life but pointing his finger at enemies. Of course, as every right wing American he was also a vatnik (he repeated all the standards texts about nazis in Ukraine, Zelensky being US Puppet, he demanded cancellation of aid for Ukrainie and giving up Crimea to Russia), but he was also a fanatical pro-gun advocate – to such extent that after yet another school shootin in the USA he said that “we should not allow victim’s families to emotionally terrorise us” and that “second amendment is worth those few gun deaths every day”.

What was his stand regarding political violence? Well, it’s enough to say that when a mad man broke into Pelosi’s family home and almost hacked Nancy Pelosi’s husbabd, Paul, to death with an axe, Charlie Kirk announced that… some true patriot should pay bail for him and then “ask him a few question” (he alluded here to a wanky conspiracy theory that Paul Pelosi was secretly a gay and the attacker was his rejected lover).

So let’s see what is happening now. Suddenly the whole right wing infosphere (and it is really mighty, I want to laugh when I hear the right talking about “mainstream media”, in Poland for many years the highest selling weekly “Gość Niedzielny” every week re-printed almost word to word right wing propaganda from [American] “Catholic” press, even today the whole ecosystem of official Catholic media begins their press report from EWTN and LifeSiteNews) is trying to portray Charlie Kirk as a new saint. And they are doing it in a most grotesque way, trying to potray him as a paragon of virtue. Trump has already announced the national mourning, the flags go down from the masts and he wants to award Kirk with some post-humous honours.

So why I am talking now about amoral nihilism? Let me explain. So, the whole right, American but not only American, got angry with a holy wrath at the murderer. Of course the Left is to blame, even though the killer has not yet been caught or even identified. Outrage at the violence can be heard from all directions, the American State Departament just announced that they will deport (and prevent from entering) foreigners, who… dared to mock death of Kirk. Yes, you heard it right. The Free Speech Oasis, the country, in which the first amendment is like a word of God, will deport people, or prevent them for entering, for shitposting on Facebook. One of the members of congress went even further, and demand a new law, according to which social media platforms will be required to issue life bans to people who cherish or mock Kirk’s death.

Let’s wind the clock back a bit now. Literally 3 months ago, a democratic state representive from Minnesota, Melissa Hortman, had been shot dead along with her husband. The murderer tries to kill another politician, but luckily this one manages to save his life. Murderer had a list of 70 democratic or generally liberal politicians and activists on him.

What was reaction of our right? Were they outraged and condemned it? Don’t be silly. Trump just limited himself to saying that “there is no place for terrible violence”. There was no national mourning or post-humous medals. But his behaviour is still top class compared to what other right wing policians did. Senator Mike lee, supported by Trump Junior and Elon Musk spreads conspiracy theories that suggest, that the murder was ordered by governor of Minesota and vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz and the whole thing was just a “family affair”. He also posts during the hunt for the murderer a funny picture with his portrait and caption “Nightmare on the Walz Street”.

Same things were happening after attempted murder of Nancy Pelosi, when her husband got severly injurred. I already mentioned the conspiracy theory, what’s siginificant is that Charlie Kirk had a prominent role in diminishing the importance of this attack.

And this is how it goes. For those people, there are simply no moral values. When it’s about their enemies, they beat the drum of “freedom of speech” – which is a convienient pretext to drop all the decorum and propagate lies and instigate. When it’s about one of their own, suddenly they switch into the unbelievable pathos. Suddenly, freedom of speech is no longer so relevant, suddenly human life is more important – even though Kirk himself downplayed the value of life. Sudenly the same peoplke, who were outraged at the fact, that in the UK people instigating violence on X/Twitter were arested, who called it totalitatianism and deemed it to be complete death of freedom of expression, who lectured European about freedom of speech (like JD Vance in his infamous speech), want to deport people from the country for “rationalisation or making light of Kirk’s death”.

In Fact the right just perfectly did their homework on postmodernism. Accusing the Left of “moral relativitity” and “cultural Marxism”, they themselves perfectly implemented the Rorty’s advice on (non)liberal irony. There are no rules, but the rule of persuasion. If your actions convince others, then you won. If not – you lost. So if you manage to create a media ecosystem, that will convince people that murdering a lefty is, haha, just a leftist internal business, or a revenge of dumped lover, but a murder of a right winger is unheard of, historic crime and ultimate proof of leftist barbarism and savagery – because of course the Left is responsible for it, when cancelling appearances of right-wing speakers in response of student’s demands is an example of unacceptable cancel culture, but sacking a lecture who dared to talk about gender at the gender studies lecture, because a right wing activist recorded this lecture is a rightous fight against demoralisation and moral decay, then you just have to keep doing it and you’ll win the war.

And who cares that in that war you haver burned all traditional conservative values and only their caricatures remained, who cares that apart from racism, sexism and unstoppable greed there are no real values there? This is not important. The important thing “our guys won”. Ah, and that they are pro-life, remember that. This justifies everything”.
